Valerie and Weston met working for Advance Auto Parts. Last July, he proposed while on a trip to Assateague Island.
150 guests were in attendance for their outdoor August nuptials, including a 14 member bridal party. “We were thankful the weather held out. As soon as we got to the tent for dinner, it poured.”
The couple chose blue as their main color for their wedding decor at Glen Ellen Farm. “We both love the Frederick area. We liked that Glen Ellen was secluded and just an overall beautiful venue. We always wanted an outdoor wedding and Glen Ellen fit our dream perfectly.”
When asked about what advice she would give other couples currently planning their wedding, Valerie shared, “Planning goes by quick so enjoy it. Things will go wrong on your big day so just laugh it off. Because when the day is over, you’re with your better half for the rest of your life.”
Valerie is a general manager for Advance Auto Parts and Weston is a service technician at Len Stoler. They currently reside in Eldersburg.
