Carol and Rich’s love story started as so many great relationships do. First, they were best friends, for nearly 10 years. Then, their love for each other deepened. They celebrated their engagement with a Mount Airy-based engagement session with Spence Photographics and then married at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Libertytown, surrounded by family and friends. The real party began afterward at the Myersville Fire Hall, where sunflowers and burlap dressed up the hall and the bride and groom were toasted with moonshine.

Whoa whoa whoa. We’re just in love with Jaclyn and Zach’s soft and sweet Myersville country wedding! Photographer Brian Virts sent this beauty over to us, and we couldn’t wait to share it!
A little from Brian:
I was thrilled when Jaclyn’s mother Julie asked me to photograph her daughter’s June wedding in the country. Julie, a well known family photographer in her own right was a pleasure to work with!
The details were set as I arrived for the getting ready photos. Jaclyn was a beautiful bride, already in her dress and ready to go! A handmade wooden sign pointed the way off a country winding road to mark the site of the event. Arriving at the ceremony site, I trekked down a wide hill to the bottom where a large tree became the focal point for gathering the bridal party for some pics preceding the ceremony; the large tree at the back of the site was just enough to block the midday sun. Guests were seated on blanketed hay bales as the bride made her entrance from the hilltop. Later on, a trip to the local farm with the bride and groom set the stage for a warm country pictorial. The reception was held at the local fire hall where the couple danced and partied with friends and family.
