Drew and Emily met during a night out with friends. “We were out at the local dive bar when our friends started talking to each other. We hit it off. We just kept seeing more and more of each other from that night on.”
Drew proposed at Bennett Cerf Park in Westminster. “We had gone there right after one of our first dates. It was Christmas day, and it was so exciting because we got to tell our families right after.”
The couple had 65 guests in attendance for their indoor evening Ceresville Mansion wedding, including three bridesmaids and three groomsmen. “I was so nervous I was glad we got to hold hands for most of it.”
Emily and Drew chose a color palette of burgundy and marsala. The couple made their own table arrangements. “Ceresville has a really beautiful vintage feel that my husband and I both loved especially with the fireplaces going in the evening. We had candles on the tables along with the flowers that my mom had arranged with a small amount of help from us. The dance floor in the center of the tables made for a really fun evening. Afterward, all of our friends and family kept coming to tell us what a nice time they had.”
Drew is a Controls Engineer and Emily is an English as a Second Language Teacher. They currently reside in Catonsville.
