Dean and Danielle met online about five years ago. Dean proposed on Danielle’s work trip to England. “Dean met me at the end of my trip to London where he proposed on the Westminster Bridge and then we spent the next week traveling around Italy together.”
100 guests were in attendance for their indoor January nuptials include a ten-person bridal party. The bridesmaids carried lanterns instead of bouquets of flowers to tie in with the winter theme. “It was a beautiful ceremony in front of the fireplace at ThorpeWood. It was just so cozy as we watched the snow falling outside.”
The couple chose a color palette of wine, greenery, and wood for their wedding decor. “We wanted a winter wedding. We visited Thorpewood the December a year before our wedding and we could see how beautiful it was in the winter. We also had a special camping trip up in Catoctin when we first started dating. It was where we first said I love you, so it was the perfect place to get married. The snow is all I wanted and we got it. It made the day so special since it really was one of a few snowy days in Maryland this winter.”
Dean is a salesman and Danielle is an analyst. They currently reside in Arbutus, Maryland.
