Brittany met Jake when she was attending Towson University for her undergraduate degree in biology. “We studied together and got to know each other more by spending long hours studying at the library. Slowly we started going rock climbing together and on outdoor trips. We have been together since 2014.”
Jake proposed by bringing her back to where they first met. “We went there one evening and he set up a picnic under the tree we used to study under. My wedding ring is a custom ring based on the video game Kingdom Hearts. He proposed using a starfruit from the game that symbolizes being eternally bound with the one who shares it.”
96 guests attending their wedding day, including a seven-person wedding party. “We got married outdoors at the Pine Cathedral at ThorpeWood. The venue was gorgeous and we knew it was perfect for us with how outdoorsy and laid back it was.”
The couple chose burnt orange and forest green for their wedding decor. “We wanted an enchanted forest theme. I have always dreamed of an enchanted forest wedding. I liked that overall we did not need to decorate much due to the natural beauty of the venue.”
Jake is a biotech manufacturer and Brittany is a dental hygenist. They currently reside in Abington, Maryland.
