Kevin and Rebekah met in 2013 while working at Rock Bottom Brewery in Bethesda. “It was my first job as a server, and Kevin trained me on my second or third day. We became friends and remained close throughout the years, despite at one point living 1,000 miles apart. We became a couple in 2019, and the rest is history.”
The couple got engaged in October 2021. “Black Hill Regional Park in Germantown has always been a huge part of my life, and I brought Kevin there a couple of years into our friendship. He proposed to me in the gazebo by the lake, saying it was one of the first places he realized he fell in love with me.”
115 guests, including an 11-person wedding party, helped the couple celebrate their September nuptials. “It was in a beautiful setting, with a beautiful speech by our officiant. He incorporated aspects of our unique personalities and stories while inviting our guests to play a small role in it as well.”
Sage green, burnt orange, marigold, and blush created a fall color palette for their decor. “I loved being surrounded by those closest to me to witness me marry the best man I’ve ever known. The colors, the setting, everything felt like a beautiful dream.”
Kevin is a brewmaster at Lone Oak Farm Brewery in Olney, MD, and Rebekah is a bartender currently studying interior design at Montgomery College. They reside in Silver Spring, Maryland.
