Emily and Tyler met in 2019 through a dating app. “It was the best swipe right we ever had. We went on a grub crawl that started with cheese and crackers which turned into a long walk to get lobster, then getting a milkshake at 2 am and talking until 5 am. We knew after that date we would be inseparable.”
A week after the two moved into their first home together, Tyler proposed. “When we sat down for dinner Tyler couldn’t hold it in anymore and he got down on one knee in front of chicken pad thai.”
Sixty guests were in attendance, including a six-person wedding party, for their August nuptials at Glen Ellen Farm. “Our ceremony was in front of a pond overlooking the barn ruins. Our arbor was a cross that was built by Tyler. The most special part of our ceremony was that our newborn daughter Juniper was rolled down the aisle by two of our flower girls in a wagon also built by Tyler.”
The couple chose sage and blush for their wedding decor palette. “We were going for a floral whimsical day. Our wedding was an outdoor day wedding so we wanted our guests to feel comfortable. We were able to have kids playing while guests danced in the tent.”
Emily is a Mental Health Therapist and Tyler is a Service Driver. They currently reside in Bristow, Virginia.
