130 guests were in attendance for Jason and Ashley’s big day in May 2016. Jason’s friend built a trellis for the couple to stand under during the ceremony, which had been planned to be outdoors. “It had been windy and raining all day, so just to be safe side we got married in the barn,” Ashley shared. The couple had four bridesmaids and six groomsmen.
After the ceremony the skies cleared and the couple ventured out around the estate for photos during the sunset.
The couple chose a “rustic casual” wedding, with pinks, grays and ivory for their color palette.
When asked why they chose Crown Rose Estate, Ashley said, “We were looking for a barn big enough to accommodate our guests and old rustic charm with a nice picturesque scene and Crown Rose was the perfect setting for our vision and it was close to home and allowed us to have the whole weekend to prepare for the big day.”
The bride is a sonographer and the groom is a mechanic. They currently live in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
