Anna and Eric met cheering for their favorite football teams (Green Bay for him, Washington for her) and despite rooting for different teams, they immediately hit it off. After four years of dating, Eric proposed to Anna in the Bahamas.
75 guests attended their outdoor ceremony at Holly Hills Country Club, including five bridesmaids, six groomsmen, two flower girls and one ring bearer. The bride’s childhood pastor officiated. “The day before the ceremony we decided to print Ceremony programs and attach them to a stick to double as a fan in the heat.”
Anna and Eric chose a color palette of steel blue & blush pink for their reception. When asked what her favorite element of the wedding was, Anna shared she enjoyed creating her guest favors. “I custom stenciled glass jam jars with a custom logo with our wedding date. Because many of our guests were from out of town, we stuffed the jars with a Maryland local favorite, salt water taffy.”
The bride performed a surprise song for the groom following dinner. “It was actually a surprise for everyone.” Anna’s dad accompanied her on guitar, while her sister played the piano.
Anna is a Client Services Manager at a boutique law firm. Eric is a Sales Associate for Arbon Equipment. The couple currently resides in Sykesville.
