Nicholas and Susanna met online, on a popular dating site. “Then we realized I lived down the road from Nicholas’s parents.”
Nicholas proposed at Thanksgiving dinner surrounded by both families. “It was an incredible moment filled with tears of joy!”
190 guests were in attendance for their ceremony at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Union Bridge. Their bridal party included eight bridesmaids, eight groomsmen, two junior bridesmaids, and one junior groomsman. The ceremony incorporated traditional Filipino Catholic elements, including coin, cord, veil, and candle ceremonies. “We tried to involve our family and friends in the ceremony and it turned out to be very moving and filled with laughter, tears, joy, and love.”
The couple chose a color palette that included a variety of blue hues for their reception held at Morningside Inn. When asked about planning their wedding, Susanna shared that she had lots of help. “We loved involving our families in the planning whenever possible. We were so lucky to have so many people willing to help out. “
Nicholas is a Park Ranger and Susanna is a teacher. They currently reside in Catonsville.
