The day before their first date, the bride was supposed to be catering desserts to her first short film premiere. She was running out of time to bake dozens of cookies, so the future groom offered to come over and help her bake. After she googled the heck out of him, she was satisfied that this Rockville Volunteer firefighter captain posed no threat, and would probably come in handy when she inevitably set her kitchen on fire. Dozens of cookies were made, and on June 25, 2016 they were married at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Rockville.
The bride is a college instructor and the groom is a safety technician.
