Sylvia Carignan and Graham Cullen, who met while working in the newsroom at The Frederick News-Post, have announced their engagement. Graham proposed while they were on vacation at Assateague Island.
Sylvia is the daughter of Paul and Sue Carignan of Damascus. Graham is the son of E.T. Cullen III and the late Elizabeth Ann Cullen of Frederick.
Their wedding will be held in Gaithersburg in September.
