Douglas and Virginia Zittle will celebrate 62 years of marriage on Saturday, October 17th. They were married on Friday, October 17, 1958 at Zion Lutheran Church, Middletown, Maryland.
They have three children, Douglas Jr. and wife Michele, David, and Joyce Renner and husband Edward. They have three grandchildren, Kristen (Zittle) Leadore and husband Andrew, Jena Zittle and finance Chris Watts and Ryan Renner. One great-granddaughter Mackenzie Mae Leadore.
Doug retired from the Frederick News-Post after 42 years.
