Patrick and Maggie met in a Bar in Bel Air, Maryland. “Our friend groups hit it off and started chatting, hanging out for the rest of the evening. After an exchange of phone numbers, weeks of late-night chatting and texting, and a handful of dates, the rest is history and we’ve been together ever since.”
“My friend suggested we plan a trip on Labor Day weekend to Deep Creek Lake with our friends. Little did I know, Patrick was the mastermind behind the trip and organized the entire thing months prior. My entire family, friend group, and loved ones knew about this trip for months, had seen my ring, and were keeping the biggest secret from me. The first night at the lake, in a big house in the mountains surrounded by all of my best friends, Patrick proposed.”
150 guests, including an eight-person wedding party, were in attendance for their December wedding. “Our ceremony was personal and light-hearted. We were married by my mom’s best friend who I have known most of my life. The sun was setting during the ceremony, we laughed a lot, we cried, and we were all smiles. The ceremony was short and sweet and perfect, I wouldn’t have changed a thing.”
The couple chose a fresh, bright and romantic feel for their wedding, using a color palette of emerald green, white, gold. “Our day was all about family. We had all three of our grandfathers speak during our reception, all of our siblings played a large part as well.”
Patrick is an account executive at Group Benefit Services and Maggie is a behavior analyst at Trellis Services. They currently reside in Lutherville-Timonium.
