Jessi and Michael have known each other since kindergarten. “We were in the same class all the way through high school, taking our respective paths into the world after graduating, until crossing paths once again at a dinner with a mutual friend thirteen years later, and fell in love.”
Michael proposed to Jessi on New Year’s Eve. “I used to ask her to marry me all the time, as a kind of, ‘ok one of these days’ running thing. Her face, when she realized I was asking for real, is something I’ll never forget.”
109 guests, including an eight-person bridal party, helped the couple celebrate their December 2019 nuptials. “It was a short but sweet ceremony. We were ready to get to the party.”
The couple chose a color palette of cream and forest green for their decor. The two also took dance lessons to prepare for their first dance. “It was beautiful and simple and perfect.”
Jessi is a dental hygienist and Michael is a fiber splicer. They currently reside in Frederick.
