Steven and Donna Shriver of Kensington, Maryland, announce the engagement and upcoming nuptials of their daughter, Laura Christiana Shriver, to Paul Gregory Talis. Paul is the son of Scott Talis of Philadelphia and Wendy Talis and Enrico Bianchini of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. A May 4, 2019 wedding is planned at a private farm retreat in the Catoctin Mountains.
Laura Shriver is a 2016 graduate of Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, with a B.A. degree in English and Law in Society. Laura is the Grants Writer and Communications Director at Moveable Feast, a non-profit organization in Baltimore. Paul Talis is a 2017 graduate of Hood College with a B.A. degree in Biology. Paul works as a research assistant at Johns Hopkins University in the neuroscience department at the School of Medicine in Baltimore.
The couple met at Hood College and make their home in Towson, Maryland.
